Post Prom 2026 will be held Friday, April 24th.

Methacton Post Prom, now in it's 25th year, provides all MHS Junior and Senior students and their prom dates a free, all-night, fun, safe, alcohol-free and drug-free celebration after the prom. Methacton Post Prom provides a great alternative to potentially dangerous situations on one of the riskiest nights in the life of a teen.

This spectacular event is held in the high school, which is completely transformed by our set design crew. The event includes inflatables, laser tag, a game room, a casino, and sports tournaments, along with entertainment such as a hypnotist, silent disco, and escape rooms. There is unlimited food and drink and so much more. The magnitude of this event keeps the students excited and they want to spend their after-prom night here at Post Prom rather than anywhere else, which in turn keeps our students safe.

Volunteer Training Session - April 14th

The Volunteer Training and Info session will be on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 7pm.  This is mostly intended for Volunteers that are new to volunteering at Post Prom, but all are welcome even if you've done this before.  You'll get lots of info and can ask any questions you may have.

The session will take place in the Methacton High School LGI room - The door number is "A47" and there is also a green & white sign with the Methacton logo and "Large Group Instruction" on it.

Adult Disco - A fundraiser for Post Prom

On Saturday night, April 18th, 2026 we'll be holding an Adult Fundraiser at Eagleville Taphouse.  This will be a night of fun for adults to raise money that goes to Post Prom to help fund the event for our Juniors and Seniors.

Post Prom Community Walk-through

Friday April 24, 2026 from 6:30-8:30pm

Come and see what makes 700+ students spend all night at school after prom! Check out the decorations and see what makes us the premier post prom in Montgomery County!
Over 400 volunteers offer their time and talents to keep our Methacton High School students, their prom dates and the greater community safe on prom night!

  • We'll have valuable raffle baskets that you can win!
  • Self-guided touring means little wait to enter!
  • Admission is free! Donations welcome.

(Please note, this is a walkthrough viewing event only. Activities are for use by students only during the Post Prom event)

This event is completely FREE!

You MUST REGISTER to attend.
MHS students and their Prom guest must complete separate registration forms!!

Post Prom Committee Meetings

All meetings are held at 7pm in the Methacton High School Library. (Use the main school entrance, the library is straight down the hall on the right side.) Click here for an overhead view of school entrances.

    • Kick off meeting for Post Prom 2026! All are welcome to find out everything you need to know about being part of the committee, decorating, volunteering night of, etc. Parents with children in any grade are encouraged to be part of the committee, even if they haven't reached high school yet.
